Signature Ice Cream Flavors

Woodside Farm Creamery prepares Signature Ice Creams for a number of restaurants and organizations. These interesting flavors are occasionally available through the Woodside Farm Creamery ice cream stand as samples. Each farm fresh homemade Signature Ice Cream is blended to the custom recipe of our customers. We recommend that you try them in the not too distant future.

Pies are available for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays as well as during the summer season by special request.  Orders for pies require seven (7) days advance notice.  We offer the following flavors of ice cream pies:

In addition to being recognized by the State of Delaware as one of Delaware's Centennial Farms, Woodside Farm Creamery ice creams have received the accolades from the following organizations!

Ice Cream has been the nation's favorite dessert for longer than Woodside Farm has been owned by the Mitchell Family. In 1744 ice cream was served at special functions by the Governor of what would eventually became the State of Maryland. A year after the Declaration of Independence was signed the New York Gazette proclaimed the rarity called "ice cream" to be available at selected city locations. Our first President, George Washington, was an avid ice cream lover and is rumored to have run up a $700 ice cream tab one summer! Dolly Madison, our 4th President's wife, was the first to serve ice cream at White House dinners.
